Karen worked with Christine Peacock, director of the 'Colourise Film Festival' to create animations to publicise the 'Colourise Festival' 2008 to 2010 and the 'Colourise BIFF' (Brisbane International Film Festival). They were screened at GoMA (Gallery of Modern Art) and BCC Theatrette in Brisbane.

Colourise has a program of events throughout the year leading up to the NAIDOC Indigenous gathering season in July.
