This traffic signal box (TSB) was designed and painted in 2008 through four facilitated group workshops with wom*n who access Brisbane Rape and Incest Survivors Support Centre (BRISSC). BRISSC is a feminist based free and confidential service to women survivors of sexual violence and their supporters.

The intention of this project was to bring wom*n together in a creative and supportive environment to explore and reclaim space.

Three collaborative workshops drew out the key concepts and final design that the group wanted to produce. In the fourth workshop participants painted the TSB. The TSB was painted on the corner of Logan Rd and Stanley St. Read more about BRISSC
