Film –‘The Booth Project’: 2007 - present, an open video forum where community members can express themselves. Footage is then edited into archival short films to create participant driven snapshots of communities. Collaborator: Ky Hamilton. Karen uses Premier and Final Cut Pro.

Photography - ‘Westfruits’: 2007, a book of 88 photos of people who consider West End significant to them. Collaborator: (m)-elly nio.

Zine Making – Karen has facilitated zine making workshops since 2004.
Craft, Painting, Clay & Drawing – Karen has been developing these skills since High School and has facilitated workshops in these areas since 2004.
Traffic signal box – Karen facilitated a group of survivors from BRISSC in creating the image then painting a traffic signal box in Woollongabba in 2009.

Mural Painting – Karen has facilitated mural painting workshops since 2004.

Event Management - Karen curates and managed the Finally Exhibition for Human Ventures final traineeship year.
