YAQ Navigation Logo Design Workshop
Karen facilitated a logo design workshop for the 2010 Youth Arts Queensland Navigation Arts Business Training. In a few hours participants discussed the basics principles of design and created their own logos in 'Adobe InDesign'.
Young Carers Digital Stories Workshops
Karen co-facilitated the graphic and visual art component for the Young Carers project in 2010. These workshops demonstrated skills in sound and image development for young carers to express their experiences.

Logan Libraries Digital Photo Workshop
Karen provided a series of seven workshops at Logan Libraries in 2010. These free training workshops provided an opportunity for participants to alter a personal photo using a free photo munipulation program called GIMP.
Zig Zag Hepatitis C Workshops and Exhibition
In 2006, Karen co-ordinated a project to raise awareness of Hepatitis C for Zig Zag. Karen facilitated a series of art workshops throughout Brisbane for young wom*n titled 'Self care- Self Management'. Upon completing these workshops, Karen curated an exhibition of the artwork produced.
Zig Zag provides counselling and support to young women who have experienced sexual assault and homelessness.
