This newsletter was designed in 2009 through consultation with Young People and the Arts Australia (YPAA). YPAA is the national peak body for organisations and practitioners engaging children and young people in the arts.
Karen trained Imogene Shields, YPAA’s communications officer, in InDesign, the programme used to create the newsletter. InDesign can be used to create works such as posters, flyers, brochures, magazines and books. Imogene was then able to update the newsletter every month and create flyers for the organisation. Karen continued to be responsive to the continued learning needs of Imogene.
